With more than 17 years in the health care industry, David most recently served as the COO of Insight Healthcare Financial, Inc., a Nashville-based health care finance company that manages and monitors both A/R factoring transactions and asset-based loans to health care companies.
David was previously with the Pine Creek companies, as the co-founder and COO of Pine Creek Healthcare Capital, LLC, a specialized lender to rural hospitals, and Pine Creek Investors, LLC, a distressed-debt asset manager.
David also held positions with the Medstat Group, a health care information subsidiary of Thomson Reuters, and Louden & Company, a Nashville-based health care strategy-consulting firm.
David is a founding board member of Leadership Health Care, an organization of health care professionals formed in partnership with the Nashville Health Care Council. He is also the founder and past president of the Vanderbilt Healthcare Alumni Association.
David received an MBA from Vanderbilt University and a bachelor's degree in English from Denison University.

Evan Austill

Evan Austill is an entrepreneur with more than 17 years of experience as a founder and manager of privately backed, early-stage health care companies. He enjoys structuring and financing start-up ventures and developing and negotiating strategic business relationships.
Evan was previously the managing director of Inception Capital Advisors, a boutique strategic and capital advisory firm focused on developing the investment profiles of early-stage companies. He was also the co-founder of Veran Medical Technologies, an interventional radiology medical device company.
Prior to founding Veran Medical Technologies, Evan held positions at IPC Capital Partners, a private equity firm specializing in leveraged buyouts of distressed manufacturing and real estate holdings, after beginning his career in the private practice of law.
Evan was a founding board member of the Southeastern Medical Device Association and is currently a board member of the Vanderbilt Healthcare Alumni Association.
Evan received his J.D. from the University of Alabama and both a B.S. and MBA from Vanderbilt University.

Melissa Jones
PatientCredit Account Executive
Melissa has more than 10 years of experience in patient account, collection supervisory and accounts receivable/payable management roles with companies including Perot Systems Healthcare, Phydata and Radiology Associates.
At PatientCredit, Melissa is responsible for implementing client initiatives, communicating directly with both patients and clients, and training the company's patient financial counselors.
Melissa received her B.S. degree from the University of Phoenix.

Luke has lifelong expertise in financing all stages of health care and financial services companies, from start-up to IPO. He also has deep experience in health care and financial services mergers and acquisitions and leveraged buyout financing. His longstanding relationships extend to an extraordinary number of health care's most successful serial entrepreneurs and senior managers.
From 1980 to 2000, Luke was co-senior partner of J.C. Bradford & Co. in Nashville, Tenn. Following the sale of J.C. Bradford & Co. to UBS in 2000, he remained active with UBS as a senior advisor to the UBS health care investment banking team.
He received his B.S. from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Virginia.

Rand Frederiksen, M.D.

Rand Frederiksen, M.D., brings to the PatientCredit board critical insight drawn from more than 44 years of experience as a health care provider and managing partner for his physician practice group.
Dr. Frederiksen received his medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Parkland Hospital. He was a fellow in cardiology at Washington University School of Medicine and at Hammersmith Hospital of the Royal Post Graduate Medical School in London.
Dr. Frederiksen is board-certified in internal medicine, subspecialty in cardiovascular disease.

Jim Lackey

Health care entrepreneur and Tennessee business leader Jim Lackey has built a career on recognizing opportunity and leveraging relationships to achieve results.
As current chairman and former CEO of Passport Health Communications, Inc., he led the company from start-up, through product development, revenue generation, three acquisitions and three rounds of capital financing, to its current position as a leader in the health care technology and information services industry.
In addition, Jim serves as CEO of EnableComp, a Franklin, Tenn.-based company that works with hospitals and large providers to recover lost revenue from zero balance workers' compensation accounts.
Previously, Jim was president of FOCUS Healthcare Management, was a founding officer of Coventry Corporation and held roles at HealthAmerica.
He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Oklahoma Baptist University.
